Offerpad made a great initial offer and then came back with a massively reduced price later on after we were already in escrow on another house. When asked why the just said overall condition and pointed out items that were in the pictures from the initial offer. They also say you can use your own contractor to fix issues but when I stated that I wanted to know specifically what issues they had so I could get them fixed they said that if I was going to go that route then Offerpad would no longer be interested in buying my property. They entice you with a large first offer and then come back and low ball after you are already in escrow or ready to move and can have to choose between accepting their low offer or losing out on your new home. They say you can use your own contractors to fix items but never actually give you an itemized list of issues and say if you go that route they will no longer purchase the house. Seller’s beware and I would probably not use them again.
