I was originally offered $205K. I accepted. Signed all the paperwork based on the $205K offer pending possible inspection findings.
Had my inspection. Zero issues. Inspector was highly complimentary about my home’s condition.
Then… surprisingly, unexpectedly, my Offerpad dashboard disappeared and reset and my original offer was reduced by $5K to only $200K. I felt tricked, betrayed, bamboozled.
Natalie Maniatis was my main contact throughout the process. Natalie’s responses to my texts, emails, and voice messages were not proficient. Eventually, Natalie finally told me that my initial offer reduced by $5 due to “market conditions”.
My initial contact was with DJ Elam. DJ’s involvement was excellent, but after he handed me off to Natalie, it went downhill.
I was told my move was “free”. It wasn’t. After I signed my contract, I was told I only had 3 workers for 4 hours and I would have to pay $159/hour over the 4-hours. Yet another horrific surprise. Only 2 workers showed up. They did an excellent job but I only had 14 pieces of furniture for them to move. They finished in under 3 hours.
I couldn’t afford $159/hour so my two adult children took off work and drove down here from Ohio and rented a truck the day before to move the majority of my items. That was an unexpected unanticipated expense and a huge inconvenience to our family (especially given the snow storms and icy driving conditions between Ohio and Florida.
In spite of all that disappointment, I have the highest praise for Antonio Zepeda. Antonio was on the ball! He texted me in advance regarding my final inspection and put me at ease because I trusted his guidance.
The beginning of the Offerpad process was EXCITING.
The middle was HORRIBLE.
The end was TRUSTWORTHY.
I received my $10K holdback the same day Antonio’s crew did their final inspection.
Would I use Offerpad again? NO.
Would I recommend Offerpad to others? MAYBE, but only after sharing with them what I went through.
Would I recommend Offerpad giving a raise to Antonio Zepeda? YES!!!

The process was easy and Offerpad did a good job of updating me on the sell of the house.
Speed and convenience
Ja’Lyn was amazing as this was my 1st time using Offerpad as a Realtor or personally. She was the star of offerpad, even getting me to talk to my client and backing out of Open Door’s offer. She was easy to reach, patient with my questions and will definitely use offer pad again because of her customer service. Natalie was great too, but I spent far less time working with her at that point. Hankin and Pack were not good and this has been an ongoing issue with their services, delays and late disclosures to clients that really ruins the entire experience. It reflects poorly on Offerpad.
