“The best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry” applies all too well in the situation of one homeowner, Rexann Wagner, in Venice, Florida. After years of splitting seasons between Ohio and Florida, Rexann and her husband John finally decided to make the Sunshine State their permanent residence. While they loved their home in Venice, the couple quickly realized that the layout of the house was not conducive for John’s wheelchair. And really, the entire process is stressful — negotiations, inspections — it’s like getting a root canal!”
This time around, Rexann didn’t want the additional stress. With a disabled husband and a LARGE dog, the thought of having to manage time away from the home so it could be shown did not sit well.
