The city of Carmel, Indiana is located approximately 19 miles directly north of downtown Indianapolis when you I-70 E from E New York St and then take I-465 N and Keystone Pkwy to E Main St, in Hamilton County. The United States Census Bureau* recently released 2017 data which tallies Carmel at more than 101,068 current residents. From 2010 to 2017, residential population has increased by 26.24% - that is an increased of more than 21,008 residents in a seven year timeframe.
